Dr. Zarkesh
Many software solutions cannot be sufficiently adapted to the individual processes of a practice. For my work, I wanted a flexible solution that I could use in a variety of ways. With medudoc, I found a provider that exceeded my expectations.
Can you briefly describe how you integrated the digital solution into your practice processes?
We have made the digital information available to our patients via a link and a QR code. Patients usually watch this video at home before they come to the consultation.
How has the introduction of the digital solution in your ophthalmology practice affected the efficiency of your processes?
As the patients have already seen the information video, the medical explanation in the doctor’s office is significantly shortened. Importing the information into the patient file eliminates further steps such as scanning and storage.
What specific requirements or challenges in your practice led you to choose medudoc and Simpleprax instead of other providers?
High number of surgeries and the associated frequent reduntante long explanatory discussions. Other providers do not offer the option of integrating their own video and that patients can watch the video at home.
How have your patients reacted to the introduction and use of the digital solution? What feedback have you received?
The vast majority of patients are very satisfied and prefer the video consultation. Occasionally there are patients who are afraid to inform themselves. However, they also do not want to read the paper information sheet, they just want to sign it.
How have your employees responded to using the digital solution?
After a familiarization process of a few weeks, the software is well accepted and used by our employees.
What future developments or potentials can you imagine with this solution?
It would be very helpful to include cost estimates for co-payments for operations.
