Interoperability
Data belongs where it is needed
For medudoc, interoperability is a basic principle, not an add-on. Patient master data comes from the HIS via HL7 FHIR; medical history, consent status and IC Sheet documentation go back in structured form. Your hospital retains data sovereignty and does not have to maintain any data twice.
API documentation
Three interfaces, one goal
Choose the interface that fits your project.
FHIR interface
Inbound and outbound interfaces for data exchange between medudoc and hospital information systems or practice management systems.
Platform API
Programmatic access to functions of the medudoc platform, for example for case handover from the hospital's own systems.
Partner API
Read access to approved patient education content, for example for integration into your own applications.
Principles
What you can rely on with every integration
Open standards instead of proprietary formats
For exchange with HIS and PMS, medudoc relies on HL7 FHIR. Your systems speak an established standard, not a proprietary interface.
Documented and versioned
The interface documentation is publicly available. Changes go through a defined change management process.
Securely connected
Transmission exclusively via TLS 1.2 or higher, client-specific API keys following the principle of least privilege. ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, BSI C5 Type 2 attested.
Trust Center →Your data remains your data
Customer data can be exported at any time during the contract term in a common, machine-readable format.
